Visit the famous Iguana Farm – 12 acres of beautiful tropical forest with over 4,000 iguanas that roam freely in their protected environment. You can feed and touch them!
Visit Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and Sloth Hangout. A beautiful sanctuary and safe haven for a variety of animals including sloths, monkeys and parrots. You are welcome to interact and touch the monkeys and sloths.
Finally, spend time relaxing at Roatan’s amazing West Bay Beach. Enjoy a drink or some lunch surrounded by beautiful white sand and turquoise waters.
As soon as you arrive on Roatan, I will be there to pick you up at the cruise ship dock in an air conditioned, 7 passenger van.
While we drive to the Iguana Farm, you will already see a beautiful part of the island, with some amazing views!
The Iguana Farm; over 12 acres of beautiful tropical forest, more than 4,000 iguanas roaming freely in a protected haven. Some grow up to four feet long!
Get up close and personal to Roatan’s most exotic lizard, the green Iguana. You can pet and feed the friendly reptiles.
Accessible pathways allow guests to see the Iguanas in their natural habitat, swinging in trees, soaking in the sun, munching on vegetables, or burrowing holes to lay eggs.
Next, we will be off to Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and Sloth Hangout in French Key.
This is a sanctuary and safe haven for different kind of animals, like parrots, monkeys and sloths. Some of them were brought to the sanctuary on the brink of death and were nurtured back to excellent health by Daniel Johnson and his hard working staff.
At the sanctuary you get the chance to go inside the monkey cage and hold a sloth!
The last hour(s) of the tour you can relax at the amazing and astonishing West Bay Beach; a beautiful white sanded beach and a stunning turquoise ocean. Enjoy some drinks or a delicious lunch at one of the beach resorts.
Do you want to enjoy the underwater life? Rent (or bring your own) snorkeling gear and you will encounter a lot of fish just of the shore!
At the end of the tour, I will drop you off at the cruise ship dock (max. 1 hour before the cruise ship leaves).
